What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, the Infosys McCamish Systems data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On November 3, 2023, Infosys learned that it was impacted by a cybersecurity event in which an unauthorized party accessed portions of the company’s computer network. This prompted the company to launch an investigation. On November 24, 2023, Infosys McCamish Systems informed Bank of America that data concerning certain deferred compensation plans serviced by Bank of America may have been affected. On February 1, 2024, Infosys McCamish Systems sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
