June 10 – The IntelliHartx, LLC (“ITx”) data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was affected by a third party cybersecurity attack. The IntelliHartx data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, addresses, dates of birth and protected health information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 489,830 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine and a notice posted on the company’s website IntelliHartx, LLC reported a data breach after they were affected by a recent third party cyber security attack. IntelliHartx learned on February 2, 2023, that Fortra had experienced a data security incident related to a zero-day vulnerability in its GoAnywhere managed file transfer product. The company launched an investigation and was able to confirm that confidential IntelliHartx patient information was compromised. On June 8, 2023, IntelliHartx, LLC sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
