June 15 – The International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (“P.E.O.”) data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood data breach resulted in the names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, home addresses, phone numbers, financial account numbers, and email addresses of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 94,200 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent ransomware attack. On April 14, 2023, an unauthorized party was able to gain access to P.E.O. computer system where they were able to access confidential files. On June 14, 2023, International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
