June 23 – The Kannact Inc. data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The Kannact data breach resulted in the names, Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, driver’s license numbers, and protected health information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 103,547 individuals.
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (“HHS-OCR”) and a notice posted on their website, Kannact Inc. reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On March 13, 2023, Kannact learned that an unauthorized party had gained access to its computer network. On June 20, 2023, Kannact sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
