On June 24, 2023, the company detected unusual activity within its computer network. Kimco secured its network and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network, including files containing confidential information belonging to those who currently work or used to work with the company. On December 19, 2023, Kimco Staffing Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
