ESO Solutions provides software and other services to Manatee Memorial Hospital. On October 27, 2023, the company notified Manatee Memorial that it had detected a ransomware attack. ESO solutions first learned about the incident on September 28, 2023, prompting them to launch an investigation that ultimately confirmed unauthorized access to Manatee Memorial patient information. On December 12, 2023, Manatee Memorial Hospital sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Manatee Memorial Hospital is a healthcare provider based out of Bradenton, Florida. The hospital has 295-beds that provides a wide range of services, including cardiac care, cardiovascular 
medicine, emergency care, surgery services, a weight–loss program, orthopedic services, radiology services, rehabilitation services, respiratory care, sleep, oncology & wound care as well as women’s and children’s services. Manatee Memorial Hospital is operated by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a King of Prussia, PA-based healthcare system.
