June 9 – The Marshall & Melhorn, LLC data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The Marshall & Melhorn, LLC data breach resulted in the names, addresses, Social Security numbers, financial account information, driver’s licenses and state identification information, passport information, medical information, and health insurance information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 27,271 individuals.
According to the Maine Attorney General, Marshall & Melhorn, LLC reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An unauthorized party was able to gain access to the company’s network on August 21, 2021 after a computer outage. On June 7, 2023, Marshall & Melhorn, LLC sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
