July 5 – The Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter (“MMC”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On or around April 24, 2023, MMC determined that they were the target of a series of cyber attacks. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation. It was determined that an unauthorized party was able to gain access to the company’s network, including files with confidential consumer information. On June 14, 2023, Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
