June 19 – The New Horizons Medical, Inc. data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The New Horizons Medical, Inc. data breach resulted in the names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account information, medical records numbers, health insurance plan member IDs, claims data, diagnoses, and prescription information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 12,317 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine and a notice posted on their website, New Horizons Medical, Inc. reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An unauthorized party was able to gain access to the company’s IT network between February 12, 2023 and April 23, 2023. On June 16, 2023, New Horizons Medical, Inc. sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
