December 11 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the Ongoing Operations data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. What Happened?

According to a notice posted on their website, Ongoing Operations reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack on November 26, 2023, Ongoing Operations was the target of a cyberattack. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation that is still ongoing. Ongoing Operations has stated it is “reviewing the impacted data to determine exactly what information was impacted and to whom that information belonged.” Ongoing Operations sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

Mountain Valley Federal Credit Union (Mountain Valley CU”), a credit union that was affected by the incident also made a recent filing. It indicated that its data processing vendor, FedComp, Inc., informed them that its computer operating system ‘Trellance’ was the victim of a ransomware attack. This helps to provide additional confirmation of the attack, as well as its scope.
