June 30 – The Precision Imaging Centers data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The Precision Imaging Centers data breach resulted in the first and last names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government-issued identification numbers, health insurance information, medical conditions and diagnoses, health information, medical information, and dates of birth of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 31,010 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Precision Imaging Centers reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On or around November 2, 2022, Precision Imaging detected suspicious activity within its computer network. The company launched an investigation where they discovered that an unauthorized party was able to gain access to files containing personal information. On June 22, 2023, Precision Imaging Centers sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
