August 11 – The Radius Global Solutions data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was affected by a recent third party cyber security attack at Progress Software. The Radius Global Solutions data breach resulted in the names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, patient treatment codes, treatment location, and treatment payment history of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 600,794 individuals.
According to a notice posted on their website, Radius Global Solutions reported a data breach after they were affected by a recent third party cyber security attack at Progress Software. On June 1, 2023, Radius learned that the MOVEit file transfer application used by the company contained a critical vulnerability allowing hackers to access MOVEit servers. Radius investigated its MOVEit server to determine whether an unauthorized party had accessed any confidential documents and confirmed that certain documents were accessed and that these documents contained sensitive information. On August 4, 2023, Radius Global Solutions sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
