September 15 – The Sightpath Medical, LLC (“Sightpath”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after Sightpath Medical was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Sightpath data breach resulted in the personal information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of California, Sightpath Medical reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On February 9, 2022, the company detected unusual activity in its systems. At this point, it hired third-party data security specialists to aid its Sightpath Medical, LLC data breach investigation.
This process confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access files on its IT network and that some of these files contained confidential patient information. Sightpath completed the analysis of its leaked data on June 14, 2023.
On September 8th, Sightpath Medical sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

The company specializes in development and manufacturing of mobile services for eye surgery, particularly treating cataracts.
