August 4 – The Synergy Healthcare Services data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Synergy Healthcare Services data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, signatures, insurance details, contact information, driver’s license numbers, medical history and treatment information, and financial information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 58,034 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Synergy Healthcare Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. In December 2022, Synergy Healthcare detected suspicious activity within its computer network. The company secured its systems and then launched an investigation and confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to part of its computer network on December 15, 2022. The breach affected the following providers and their affiliates:
Consulate Health Care,
Raydiant Health Care, and
Independence Living Centers
On July 27, 2023, Synergy Healthcare Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
