What Happened As A Result Of The TMLT Data Breach?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, Texas Medical Liability Trust reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The breach occurred on November 2nd, 2022, and the company discovered it on December 12th, 2022.

As the TMLT data breach investigation has revealed the full scope of the breach, the company has issued two data breach notifications. The first came on March 21st, 2023 while the company followed up with another on September 11th, 2023.

On each of these dates, the Texas Medical Liability Trust sent out data breach letters to the victims of the breach. These letters inform the victims of their stolen data and offer complimentary identity protection services.
