According to the Attorney General of Montana, the Ultra Intelligence & Communications data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On November 24, 2023, the company identified suspicious activity within part of its computer network. Ultra contained the incident and launched an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized actor had gained access to certain systems on its network and acquired information and then posted it online on December 27, 2023. On March 15, 2024, Ultra Intelligence & Communications sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
