What Happened?

According to a notice posted on their website, the United Medical Centers data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. ​​On July 26, 2023, UMC detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting them to secure their systems and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that the cyberattack compromised patient information. On October 27, 2023, United Medical Centers sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
