July 29 – The Valley National Bank data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Valley National Bank data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers and addresses of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Texas, Valley National Bank reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Valley National Bank recently learned that sensitive information provided to the bank was subject to unauthorized access. It is unclear if the breach affected Valley National Bank’s IT network or the IT network of one of the bank’s vendors. On July 25, 2023, Valley National Bank sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
