Data Breach AlertSeptember 6 – The Vivendi Ticketing US LLC, d/b/a/ See Tickets data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The See Tickets data breach resulted in the names, addresses and payment card information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 323,000 individuals.

What Happened As A Result Of The See Tickets Data Breach?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, See Tickets reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. In May 2023, See Tickets detected unusual activity within some of its e-commerce websites. The company launched an investigation and determined that an unauthorized party installed lines of malicious code into the back-end of the “check out” pages of several of the company’s sites. This code allowed hackers to obtain certain information about individuals who made purchases through the affected websites. On September 5, 2023, See Tickets sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
