June 13 – The Winslow Memorial Hospital d.b.a Little Colorado Medical Center (LCMC”) data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The Little Colorado Medical Center data breach is still being investigated by the company and the compromised data types and number of individuals affected have not yet been determined.
According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Little Colorado Medical Center reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An unauthorized party gained access to portions of the company’s IT systems between March 7, 2022 and April 21, 2022. On May 25, 2023, Little Colorado Medical Center sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach. While the company has not yet confirmed the nature of the leaked data, they indicated that they will be sending additional data breach letters to patients whose information was subject to unauthorized access.
