What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the Surety HR data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack on January 31, 2024. Surety HR contained the incident and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of the company’s IT network between January 16, 2024 and January 28, 2024. On May 7, 2024, Surety HR sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
