What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Montana, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An investigation was launched that determined that the email account was accessible by an unauthorized party between December 14, 2023 and January 12, 2024.
