According to the Attorney General of California, the CCM Health data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The company learned that an unauthorized party had gained access to its computer system prompting them to secure their network and launch an investigation. On February 12, 2024, it was confirmed that an unauthorized party had indeed accessed its network between April 3, 2024 and April 10, 2023. During this time, the unauthorized party was able to access files containing confidential patient information. On March 12, 2024, CCM Health sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

network of three clinics located in Milan, Clara City, and Montevideo. CCM Health’s services include primary care, pediatric care, behavioral health, hospice care, cardiology, imaging and more.
