On February 11, 2023, the company detected unusual activity within its computer network prompting them to launch an investigation. It was confirmed that certain files and folders were potentially accessed or taken by an unknown party. It was later confirmed that some of these files and folders contained confidential consumer information. On March 5, 2024, CAIRE, Inc. sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
CAIRE, Inc. is a manufacturing company based out of Ball Ground, Georgia that manufactures oxygen supply equipment, such as mini-pack O2 generators, O2 cylinder refilling systems, packaged O2 systems, self-contained O2 generators, and standard O2 
generators. The company also manufactures nitrogen products for the food & beverage, mining, oil & gas, and pharmaceutical industries.
