What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, the Designed Receivable Solutions data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent “hacking IT incident” attack. On January 22, 2024, the company detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting DRSI to secure its network and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access its IT network on January 18, 2024, during which they were able to view and/or obtain confidential patient information. On April 26, 2024, Design Receivable Solutions sent out data breach letters to those victims whose sensitive information was affected.
