According to the Attorney General of Montana, the Global Atlantic Financial Group data breach was reported after they were affected by a recent cyber security attack at Infosys McCamish. On November 2, 2023, the vendor was affected by a cybersecurity incident when an unauthorized party was able to access the company’s IT network. Infosys McCamish secured its systems and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access confidential information belonging to Global Atlantic customers. On April 2, 2024, Global Atlantic Financial Group sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
