February 15 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the Prudential Financial data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. What Happened?

According to the Securities & Exchange Commission, the Prudential Financial data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. ​​On February 5, 2024, Prudential learned that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network on February 4, 2024. This prompted the company to secure its systems and launch an investigation. Prudential completed its investigation but does not believe that any customer data was leaked as a result of the incident. If Prudential Financial is able to determine that sensitive information was compromised then they will be required to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
