What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Montana, the Kisco Senior Living data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On June 6, 2023, Kisco detected unusual activity within its computer network prompting the company to secure its systems and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that the network disruption was due to a cyberattack, which provided an unauthorized party with access to the company’s computer network on June 6, 2023. It was also determined that the unauthorized party was able to access files containing confidential resident information. On April 16, 2024, Kisco Senior Living sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
