June 17, 2022 – ADM Associates, Inc. (ADM) reported a data breach after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. As a result of the breach, the information of certain individuals was compromised but the type information has not yet been released. At this time, it is not clear how many individuals have been affected. ADM Associates, Inc sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

We are contacting you regarding an incident that occurred at ADM Associates, Inc. (“ADM”). We want to provide you with details regarding the incident, our response, and resources available to you to help protect your information from possible misuse, should you feel it is appropriate to do so.
What Happened?
On September 13, 2021, ADM detected a cyber event impacting our internal systems. Once we became aware of the event, we immediately moved to investigate the issue. We conducted an investigation with the assistance of third-party specialists and determined certain information in our system may have been accessed and/or acquired by an unauthorized person between August 25, 2021 and September 15, 2021. Upon conclusion of the investigation, ADM undertook a detailed review of the information that may have been subject to unauthorized access in order to determine what, if any, sensitive information was contained therein. Our review was completed in March 2022, and determined that files contained information related to you.
What Information Was Involved?
Although we are unaware of any actual or attempted misuse of your information, we are providing you with this notification in an abundance of caution because your information that was on our systems was affected. The impacted information relating to you includes your [Redacted].
What We Are Doing.
We take this incident, and the security of information within our care, seriously. Upon discovery of this incident, we launched an in-depth investigation with the assistance of third-party forensic investigators to determine the full nature and scope of this incident. As part of our ongoing commitment to the privacy of information in our care, we reviewed our existing policies and procedures and implemented additional safeguards to further secure the information in our systems as appropriate. We also notified law enforcement and regulatory authorities, as appropriate. We are providing you with information on steps you may take to help protect your personal information, should you feel it is appropriate to do so. As an added precaution, we arranged to have Kroll provide credit monitoring services for one year at no cost to you, details of which are described below.

We encourage you to remain vigilant against incidents of identity theft and fraud by reviewing your account statements and monitoring your free credit reports for suspicious activity and to detect errors. Additional information and resources are included in the enclosed “Steps You Can Take To Help Protect Personal Information.” You may also activate the complimentary identity monitoring services we are making available to you. Activation instructions are attached to this letter.
