Dear [Redacted],

Arhaus recognizes the importance of protecting the information we maintain. We are writing to inform you of an incident that may have involved some of your personal information. This notice explains the incident, measures we have taken, and additional steps you may consider taking in response.

On June 24, 2022, we concluded an investigation of a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain employee email accounts. Upon learning of this, we took steps to secure the email accounts. A cybersecurity firm was engaged, and the investigation determined that an unauthorized party was able to access certain employee email accounts between March 25, 2022 and May 24, 2022.

Although our investigation did not find any evidence indicating that any emails or attachments were actually accessed or exported from the accounts, we cannot definitively rule out that possibility. Therefore, out of an abundance of caution, we conducted a review of the emails and attachments within the employee email accounts. Through that review, we determined that an email or attachment contained your name, driver’s license number, Social Security number, and/or financial account information.

We encourage you to remain vigilant by reviewing your account statements and credit reports for any unauthorized activity.

We are offering you a free one-year membership to TransUnion’s online credit monitoring service, myTrueIdentity. This product provides you with identity detection and resolution of identity theft. It is completely free to you and enrolling will not hurt your credit score. For more information on myTrueIdentity, including instructions on how to activate your complimentary one-year membership, as well as some additional steps you can take in response, please see the pages that follow this letter.

We regret this incident occurred and apologize for any inconvenience. To help prevent something like this from happening again, we have implemented additional measures to enhance our existing security protocols.

If you have any questions, please call 877-203-4459 Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM Eastern time.
